Built on Site Shed Installation
Installing a shed on-site requires careful planning and preparation to ensure it serves its purpose effectively and lasts for years to come.

1. Schedule
After placing an order, you will receive a call within 3 business days to schedule your shed installation. Lead times are typically 2-4 weeks depending on seasonality
2. Site Prep
While we are prepared to do most of the work, we do ask for a few things to be completed prior to arrival.
- Our sheds are built on-site. Fences are not a problem as long as you have a 3′ gate with clear access to the build site
- We require at least 3′ of clearance around and above the building site (4′ if your building is larger than 160 sq. ft.)
- We will also need access to electricity within 150′ of the unit.
- Build site should be within 6″ of level
3. Day of Shed Installation
You’ll receive a phone call the morning of the scheduled installation and delivery date and the installer will review the work order before the shed installation begins
4. Quality Review
After a shed is installed, typically within a single day, your installer will conduct a final review of the completed structure with you before leaving. This is your opportunity to inspect the shed thoroughly and address any last-minute queries or concerns you may have.
What does built-on-site mean?
Built-on-site means your shed is installed directly in your backyard. This is ideal for homeowners that have fenced in backyards or limited access space. This is a major benefit versus purchasing pre-fabricated sheds which may require removing fences and objects. Installing a shed on-site also prevents any damage to your landscape.
Do I need to prep my build site before installation?
Yes. You are responsible for ensuring your build site is level and accessible prior to installation. This could be a concrete pad, wood base, or leveled ground, depending on your local requirements and preferences.
What kind of foundation do I need for my shed?
Your shed must be built on a firm, level foundation. Concrete slabs or pavers, or are commonly used. A good shed foundation ensures proper air circulation and natural drainage.
How long does it typically take to install a shed on-site?
Most sheds are built in 1 to 2 days, depending on the size and complexity of the storage shed and the condition of your site.
